FRANK EDOHO OPTS-OUT WWTBAM AS AIROPAY HOSTS SPONSORSHIP. During the week, it was reported that the popular family game show, Who Wants to Be A Million (WWTBAM) would be back on air with a new sponsor, Airopay. This was reported by Saturday Beat reporters who reliably gathered that after 13 years of hosting the show, the popular broadcaster, Frank Edoho has finally dropped and would be replaced by someone yet to be revealed. An organizer of the show told beat reporters that there are no problems with Edohoh and that everything happened on an amicable agreement. In their statement it is revealed, that “the only difference in the show is the star prize which has been reduced from N10m to N5m. It is also very likely that we would no longer work with Frank Edohoh again as the presenter. We are not dropping him because we had issues with him, but I think he feels it is high time he found better endeavors. “For now, our viewers can only be able to play on the MTN platform till we are able to sort ways of playing from other network providers, but this will be resolved very soon. “We are in no obligation to play on the MTN platform alone. Airopay is willing t partner with the Ultima Limited who had always been there to sponsor the (WWTBAM) game show. Airopay is highly honored partnering with them and they are both convinced that the synergy would be mutually beneficial”. The source explained.
