The Lagos state government has stated that starting from today, August 3rd, bus conductors in Lagos will be required to wear a uniform and name tags for easy identification.

This is said to be part of efforts to promote the Smart City Initiatives, SCI, of the Lagos state government.

The National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, Comrade Israel Adeshola, disclosed this information in an interview with Vanguard.

According to him, the Lagos State government has approved the association’s uniforms and badges with name tag and identification numbers for easy identification of registered conductors.
