REDEEMER’S UNIVERSITY EXPELS STUDENT OVER FACEBOOK POST

A student of the Redeemer’s University, Debo Adedayo, has been expelled by the school’s administration for criticizing the school on the social media.

In a Facebook post, Adedayo indicated that the VC was a hypocrite, who paraded himself as a pious person who had no stain of hatred, bitterness and negativity, but as most righteous.

Adedayo made this facebook post without calling names, but he was expelled a few weeks to his graduation from school.

According a letter written by the school authority, “The University after investigations expelled Adedayo for not portraying the school in a good light. This act is liable to be punished by expulsion, going through the principles guiding students’ conduct in the University” the letter read.

In addition, more words written by the school authority to Adedayo sya, “It has been established through the findings of the students’ investigation and disciplinary that you recently posted certain messages on some social media platforms which are offensive and portrayed the Redeemer’s University and some of the officials in bad light.”
